The Genection difference
Genection streamlines the diagnosis process by decreasing the time and cost to order all the necessary tests for personalized medicine. With access to genetic counselors, physicians have up-to-date information and the ease of using a genetic counselor to evaluate their patient to help decide which test it the correct one to prescribe. Our robust web-based system provides secure access to patient test results to monitor and share within a provider's organization. Providers can easily pass along control of test results to their patients once they have reviewed their results. Genection is HIPAA compliant and follows all privacy guidelines outlined by HIPAA.
Comprehensive test menu
Genection provides a comprehensive test menu. Providers can locate tests by simple A to Z search and order tests online. Genection aides in the diagnostic process by offering tests that are relevant for any particular disease. In addition to listing commonly recommended tests, Genection lists tests like next generation sequencing that clinicians think are indicated, but may not yet be covered by different insurance companies therefore providing the best possible care for the patient.
Next generation sequencing
Genection integrates next generation sequencing tests where it can benefit patient stratification. All next generation sequencing tests are denoted by an NGS icon and are included in the test list for a particular stratification.
An open marketplace for all tests
Genection is a marketplace for all genetic tests. It's a one stop shop for a provider's testing needs. Our secure web-based system provides access to multiple labs, even from small labs offering tests for rare diseases. Genection has streamlined the test ordering process so that providers can concentrate on their patient and not tracking down tests. Since Genection is not payor driven, the provider is in control.
